I was born on a little island in Northern Norway named Meløy.
I grew up there and in Lofoten where my fathers rooths are. Most of the time (if I am not doing crazy things like rowing to Gotland in Sweden ( row.se ) one of my passions is art. I am painting in oil and acrylic and I use various tecniques such as applications, brushes and knives (toves-art.com). Another part of my life is to run our business ROW Generation together with my husband Wim. We try to live the life we are selling which means taking time off to experience the joy of rowing our boatslife. To explore the nature from one of our boats is a wonderful experience. I always feel safe and comfortable when rowing our ROW scull model as well as our ROW VagaBond or even our ROW eXplorer. We do explore the nature in my home country as well as my husbands home country South Africa.
Another hidden passion is gardening. European summer time an english cottage garden style at our cottage in Stockholm and the one to be, a South African Fyn bos garden, during our winter time ( summer in South Africa). BUT, Our life is more or less always AT SEA.
